Walk In Clinic

Trusted Health Services, Close to Home
Our walk-in clinics run Monday to Friday, offering both daytime (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) and evening (5 p.m.–8 p.m.) hours.
We also participate in the Shuswap Saturday Clinic Roster.
Whenever possible, patients are encouraged to see their regular family physician first to ensure continuity of care.
Doors open at 9 a.m., and all appointments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
It’s common for morning walk-in spots to fill quickly, so arriving early is recommended.
Registration begins at 4 p.m., with clinic hours from 5 p.m.–8 p.m. Times may vary due to physician availability.
Evening slots are also filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and patients often begin lining up before registration opens.
Basic forms may be completed at the physician’s discretion; however, patients are strongly encouraged to consult their primary care providers for comprehensive documentation, such as Persons with Disabilities or Disability Tax Credit forms
Shuswap Saturday Clinic
As part of our commitment to accessible healthcare, Salmon Arm Medical Clinic participates in the Shuswap Saturday Clinic program. This community initiative provides urgent, non-emergency medical care on Saturdays for patients across Salmon Arm and the Shuswap Region.
The Saturday Clinic helps reduce demand on the Shuswap Lake General Hospital Emergency Department by offering convenient, same-day care for acute medical needs. Clinic hours are typically 9 a.m.–2 p.m., and locations rotate weekly between participating medical clinics.
Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and appointments cannot be booked in advance. For current locations and hours, please visit shuswapsaturdayclinic.ca.
Please note: Driver’s Medical appointments are not available through the walk-in clinic.
Training the Next Generation of Family Physicians
We are proud to be associated with the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine Postgraduate Training Program in Family Medicine and will often have Family Practice residents working in the clinic. We appreciate your willingness to have them be involved in your care as this is integral in their skill development and invaluable for their growth as the future generation of Family Physicians.
